MIDDLE SCHOOL ROWING

ABOUT OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL ROWING PROGRAM

Casitas Rowing’s Middle School Rowing program is open to all nearby 6th, 7th and 8th grade students interested in joining an athletic and uplifting community.

Our program focuses on sculling basics, safety and boat handling skills. With a dedicated coaching staff, we emphasize fun, fitness, sportsmanship and confidence building. Above all, we prioritize helping young rowers develop life skills that power them to success.

Novice rowers can join Middle School Rowing at the beginning of either fall or spring semesters and the program continues throughout the school year.

Middle School Rowing Machine Challenge

Every year, we reach over 3,500 kids through our partnership with the local Ojai and Ventura school districts. We take our rowing machines into PE classes and expose kids to rowing as they participate in our 1-minute, high-energy rowing machine race with a video game display.

Do you have a school or organization that supports large groups of kids between 6th - 12th grade?

We can visit and put on rowing machine events!
